I began my semester abroad about two weeks ago when I arrived here in London for my orientation with Arcadia, the university which is coordinating my semester here. During orientation, I was able to meet loads of interesting people from throughout the U.S. and around the world. We were able to prowl around the city, speak with members from the U.K. Parliament and the House of Lords (more on that later), visit museums, take lots of photos (most of which I will share with you) and meet up with relatives and friends who live in the city.

I have decided to submit my first blog entry, finally! This summer and fall I hope to take you along with me on my journeys to Khartoum, Sudan and London, England.
