Wow. So, it's finally here. My last night in this corner of the world.

I feel like there should be more ceremony and that everything should be a much bigger deal ... but it's just another night. I am looking forward to eating all of our food tonight, particularly the creamed honey, chocolate, Tim Tams and scone mix...

So we've just been hanging around Christchurch for the past two days. We've spent a bunch of time at the Canterbury Museum and at the International Antarctic Centre and just walking through the city and the gardens. Today, we took a drive out to some of the coastal suburbs and got ourselves some tasty meat pies.

I'm going to miss some of the "Australian" foods a lot. I'm trying to cling to everything that reminds me of this corner of the world and get as much of it as possible. There just aren't enough opportunities in the next few hours to obtain and eat everything that I want to eat!

Well, I'm in a weird emotional mood and I have a million and one things to do, so I should get on that. I'll write a wrap-up post when I get home and get settled.
