Library Exhibit: Senior Book Dedication

Each year, the Library & Information Technology department recognizes the valuable contributions made by our graduating student assistants by dedicating a book to the Ellen Clarke Bertrand Library in their name. The book is of the student's choosing and contains a uniquely designed bookplate with their name and class year. In addition, the permanent catalog record of that book includes the student assistant's name as the person honored by the dedication. Through the Bertrand Library online catalog, you can enter the student's name as a keyword search and access the record of the book dedicated to him or her. We celebrated the book dedication at a ceremony in the Library's Traditional Reading room on April 18. You can view the program created for the ceremony. Stop by the Library lobby to see the exhibit cases containing all of the books dedicated this year. We will keep these exhibits up through Commencement weekend so that our graduates can bring their families in to see the book dedicated in their honor.
