Four week trial of Defining Gender database

ISR is pleased to announce that we have a four week evaluation trial period for the database "Defining Gender". According to the product website, the database contains a "broad range of thematically organized documents from 21 libraries, [and] provides an excellent opportunity for comparative study and research. Manuscripts, printed works and illustrations combine to address the key issues from both masculine and feminine perspectives. They are indexed to provide ready accessibility for students by person and subject across all five sections."

The database contains reproduced images of documents spanning the years 1450-1910. It can be accessed from anywhere on campus at this URL: http://www.gender.amdigital.co.uk .

Please give it a try, and send your comments to Jason Snyder.
