ScienceDirect provides access to hundreds of Elsevier Journals online

We are very pleased to report that ISR has negotiated a contract with Elsevier for access to their ScienceDirect online journal archive, effective immediately. All of the Elsevier journals subscribed to by Bucknell University will now be available online, from 1995 to the present issue. In addition, all of the Elsevier journals currently owned by any of the libraries in our consortium, PALINET, will also be available to us.
Our license will now provide online access to over 800 journal titles in all fields of science and engineering, and a number of social science disciplines. Look for the green "full-text available" icon when searching ScienceDirect to be able to download a pdf version of the journal article.
Currently the journals can be searched from the ScienceDirect.com web site, or by using the Scirus.com web browser. We have also created links from our Electronic Journals list to the ScienceDirect titles.
For more information contact Jim Van Fleet at vanfleet@bucknell.edu or x73235.
