Due to overcrowding in the stacks, we are in the process of moving many bound periodical volumes from the second floor to a storage facility. The titles are all duplicated in JSTOR, the online version of the print titles.
JSTOR, which many of you have used, offers users the ability to retrieve high-resolution, scanned images of journal issues and pages as they were printed. You can browse back issues in chronological order or do a search. Many researchers find the search feature extremely useful, since it searches the entire text of articles.
You can access JSTOR content in many ways. Links to the individual JSTOR titles are available from the E-Journals page. Individual titles are also included in the online catalog. You can also use the link to JSTOR from the Database page on the ISR website. Your subject librarian or reference desk staff can help you with JSTOR if you have never used it.
Once the periodicals are moved, we will shift the books classified in the P-PM range to the 2nd floor. If you have any questions, please contact your subject liaison, or the reference desk. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding as we undertake this much needed procedure.
