CommVault Galaxy is software that regularly backs up all your important files to a secure network server. Galaxy replaces Veritas Netbackup for Windows computers and Retrospect for Macintosh computers. Galaxy backs up the Documents and Settings folder on Windows computers, which includes your Desktop folder and your My Documents folder. On Macs, Galaxy backs up the Users directory, which includes your Desktop and Documents folders.
