Nearly 200 new images were added to the Samek Art Gallery's collection today. Many of the new images are of lacquered inros from Japan and China.

Nearly 200 new images were added to the Samek Art Gallery's collection today. Many of the new images are of lacquered inros from Japan and China.

View eighteen poster sessions related to the connection between visual literacy and information literacy. The poster sessions are available online and will also be presented in person at the annual American Library Association (ALA) conference in June.

Over 150 new images were added to the Samek Art Gallery's collection today. This update features many reproductions of Winslow Homer's wood engravings on newsprint.

During the Fall 2006 semester, students in Prof. David Del Testa's HIST 100 course worked with posters from World War II that are currently housed in Special Collections. In addition to writing a research/analysis paper about the posters, students created a digital library to make the posters more widely accessible.
