The first-ever Mid-Atlantic Digital Library Conference will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Bucknell University. Complete details are available from the conference web site -- http://www.madlcon.org.
The conference includes 24 presentations over 5 tracks with nearly 20 posters and exhibits. Registration ends July 1.

ARTstor has added nearly 12,000 Asian art images from the University of Michigan. To access these images, select the American Council for Southern Asian Art (ACSAA) Collection from within ARTstor.
On January 31, 2008, faculty, staff, and students from Bucknell University participated in Focus the Nation, a national teach-in being held at colleges and universities designed to draw awareness to environmental issues. At Bucknell, events included sixteen faculty presentations, a lunchtime environmental celebration that included exhibits from a wide variety of campus and community organizations, a documentary showing, and a speech by Andrew Revkin from the New York Times.

Over 1,300 images of Late Antique period architecture and sculpture have been added to the Humanities Collection. The collection features Roman architecture as well as statues and mosaic fragments from circa 300 - 600 AD.
